We run various charitable fundraising activities throughout the weekend to raise funds for a charity we feel reflects our values, our ethos and our community.
This year we've decided to support Stonewall UK; a UK human rights charity fighting for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer+ equality. You can read more about them on their website here.
Fundraising Events
Bring and Buy: 12% of all sales at the Bring and Buy go towards the Con Charity.
Charity Bingo: Hosted by King Dice, Aloe Bobcat and K-tan. £1 per book to play anime themed bingo and win some prizes from the Table of Tat.
Cosplay Cafe: Doesn't everyone fancy a bit of tea and cake on a Sunday afternoon? Indulge yourself and enjoy the service of our Cosplay Maids. There's games to play and you can even get polaroids with the maids! All profits go to the Con Charity.
Charity Auction & Raffle: At the closing ceremony we announce the winning tickets of the raffle and hold an auction of donations from vendors, committee, attendees, A4 size prints of that year's badge art, a complete set of regular size badges and anything else we can think of in the moment...
Misc donations: If you have any loose change you want to donate, the Closing Ceremony is the perfect time to do so
